Join us for a construction tour of the 14th Avenue Townhomes, a 10-unit, all-electric, affordable housing project in Minneapolis. The project is Design Certified to Phius CORE and will be highly energy-efficient and resilient, reducing utility bills and improving wellness for future owners. Rooftop solar will further benefits residents. The project is funded by the City of Minneapolis, Hennepin County, and Minnesota Housing, with construction financing from American National Bank.  Trio Development Group, the developer, is partnering with the City of Lakes Community Land Trust to ensure the housing remains affordable for the life of the project. 

Architect / Developer Paul Gates (Paul Gates Architect / Trio Development), Developer Lisa Kugler (Trio Development),  CPHC passive building consultant Elizabeth Turner (Precipitate), CPHB Contractors Chia Xiong and Ryan Craft (Frerichs Construction), will lead the tour and share insights and lessons learned from the design, development, and construction process.
